Eggs eggs eggs!

Hey everyone! I typically will boil 2 or 3 omega enriched eggs in the morning for breakfast. It's easy, quick and mobile.

Here's the thing.. I cannot stand eggs yolks!! They are disgusting to me, flavour and texture wise. No matter how they are done I can't stand them.. The ONLY way I can eat them is if they're scrambled.

I know on Paleo you're supposed to eat the entire egg. But eating the yolk just makes me gag.. Of the 2-3 eggs I eat in the morning I try to eat at Least one of the yolks.

Is this ok or do you think I should try and find an alternative breakfast?

Most of them hate yolks, even i used to but some what i manage to eat. If you hate to eat yolk try to make it in a tasty way to eat the yolks, because i do that, i just add black pepper and salt on yolk and eat it. If you want to go for some other Natural food for breakfast go with same food which is equal to egg.

I've always disliked the taste of yolk, but now I eat them raw no problem, without the white. Chalky taste.

Eggs have all the nutrients to make a chicken. The perfect meal for humans is 3 eggs, 8oz steak, and 2 tbsp of butter. Eat fat, get thin...FTW!

have you tried non-omega enhanced eggs, you may prefer the taste of a good pastured chicken egg.

omega enhanced eggs could be enhanced by feeding the chickens things like, flax, soy, canola, fish oil. i prefer to get my omega-3 elsewhere.

& have you tried hard boiled.

I was just like you, always scrambling eggs. I started a job where someone else was cooking my lunches and I always ordered 2 burgers no buns w bacon and 2 eggs on top. The eggs would usually come back with the yolk liquid form and I would never complain because the food was free. Now, I have eaten a fried egg with a very soft yolk over 10 times and I love it. It is the same for me with any other food, the more I eat it the more I begin to like it.

How about fish for breakfast? It's a great time to get in some cold water fish for omega 3's. Didn't people traditionally eat kippered herrings at breakfast? Or a warm, hearty bowl of bone broth soup with veggies and bits of meat. The point is, you don't have to eat breakfast foods for breakfast.

Soon enough, someone will be along suggesting skipping breakfast altogether to fast intermittently, with or without bulletproof coffee. Oh, I guess "someone" was me ;o)

If anything scrambling oxidizes the yolk, and the yolk is where the nutrients are. The whites are high in methionine which depletes the B vitamins in the yolks.

You could also make "Get Some Ice Cream" with the yolks, that would be an awesome use of the yolks, and you'll more than get all the benefits, and it won't taste like yolks.

In terms of breakfast, there's nothing wrong with some grassfed meat. Breakfast can be another dinner/lunch like meal. It doesn't have to be just eggs.
