"Just saying" is a clever way to avoid being seen as sarcastic. (:->)

I have, as of this moment, completed 5 days of a modified raw juice fast. The modifications are various supplements, like cod liver oil, coconut oil, vitamin pills, etc. Paleo is more about matching our diets to our genes, which can be best determined by our ancestry of very long ago, before the agricultural revolution. Since even apples have changed in the past 10,000 years from crab apples, we have to keep a close eye on biochemistry to do this.

Involuntary fasting would be common 25,000 years ago. I have even seen video of modern anthropological researchers having to go to sleep hungry because the indigenous folks that they were visiting/researching did not find any food that particular day.
