Conference-Attendees: Who looks better, WAPFers or Paleos?

Wasn't at the Ancestral Health Symposium, nor any Weston A. Price conference. If anyone attended both, I wonder which room-full of people looked healthier.

I also wonder how the attendees at a Vegan conference would compare (if we're being truly objective, not nasty about it).

Upvoting, because I think people are inferring agenda without evidence. It's just a question.

Fewer overweight people than the norm. Clearer skin with healthier complexion, bright eyes... glow of health? I don't think this is something you can necessarily pick up easily in a video (except for weight), therefore I want to ask people who were there.

I've seen the videos and I've yet to see anything special. What does healthier looking even mean? They aren't fat and bald? I live in socal where plenty of people "look healthy" on in'n'out and burritos.

Were you at both conference?s? Don't they look healthier than people you see walking down the street? That doesn't make sense to me. I think I look better :)

I really find this conversation extremely problematic for a couple of reasons. First, the ancestral and WAPF communities have much in common and a lot of members consider themselves part of both communities. This question tries to position one as better than the other and there is no reason to do that. In most areas we are striving for common goals and hold very similar beliefs.

Second, the paleo bloggers who went on and on about how everyone at AHS was so young, beautiful, fit, and "healthy" looking did, in my opinion, a huge disservice to the paleo community. I've seen several people comment in various places online that while they were interested in attending a future AHS, after reading several of those posts, they don't feel they would be welcome if they haven't achieved an Adonis-like body (and most know that isn't in their genes in the first place). Positing AHS as some kind of oasis from all the ugly, fat people in the world only serves to alienate those in the community who aren't 25 and buff. And it keeps those who are interested in making changes, or in the process of making changes from getting all the great information available there.
