Coconut cream uses?

I have a can of coconut milk in my fridge since I've seen a lot it in the paleo world and its now a hard solid. It says to use within four days so I was wondering what are some good uses or recipes that involve coconut cream. I really don't know what to make with it and don't want to waste it.

  • Use in place of cow's milk/cream
  • Add to smoothies
  • Make a kind of chocolate pudding with cocoa/cacao powder, chia seeds, desired sweetener and coconut cream

Sit it in a bowl of warm water to soften it

If sweet--you can whip it and put it on fruit like a faux whipped cream.

Savory--make a curry! Or use it as the 'milk + butter' for mashed sweet potatoes

Make 'fat balls'. Take macadamia nuts, shredded coconut, cinnamon and wiz in food processor. Add blob of coconut cream/milk and a drop of pure maple syrup and wiz again. Roll into little balls. Yum.

1) use it in coffee and green tea, instead of half and half. 2) use it anywhere you would normally use whipped cream, such as a topping for fruits and desserts.

3) all of the above suggestions sound great, too.
