Hi

I hear a lot of people on this forum supplement with zinc so i was wondering can you get all the zinc you need from eating lamb or beef?

Do i need to supplement zinc if I am eating 1lb lamb/beef every day?

Thanks

Google: Cronometer.

But yes, 1 pound of 80% lean ground beef is 250% DV Zinc. 1 pound of ground lab is 151% DV Zinc.

Zinc supplementation on paleo is odd I think, we get more than enough, unless you're ODing on copper via liver.

Eat oysters once a week for more zinc.

I guess it debends on your meat, we have 4mg of zinc per 100grams of beef, not a lot. Our RDA is 9mg, i sure would like to eat double that.
