Breaking the Vegetarian Fast for Paleo

I have decided to undergo the ultimate human experiment on the effects of diet lifestyles on the body. I have decided to try a series of extreme diets for two weeks each and blog about the effects it has on my energy levels, fitness, concentration, BMI, digestion and more, starting with the Paleo diet.

For the first time in 7 years I had meat. I feel really heavy and sick. Do you have any recommendations for switching to the Paleo diet? Also, what recommendations do you have for breakfast besides eggs?

To learn more about my experiement and Paleo endeavors, read my blog post: http://www.eatfeelfresh.com/2013/02/sara-tries-every-diet-lifestyle-and.html

there is nothing special about what you propose and it will add nothing pertinent to human knowledge

I'm guessing that 2 weeks isn't enough time to get back into eating meat after 7 years, but you can try starting with mild white fish or chicken breast before diving into beef. My layman's opinion is that 2 weeks isn't enough time to give any new diet a chance.

Breakfast can be anything, but most people would agree it should include some protein. Many times my breakfast is left over dinner from the night before.

  • This is not your blog
  • You sound like you have an actual eating disorder. Please consult a professional to get therapy.
  • The paleo diet is not an extreme diet, and including it in your pursuit of eating disorder maximization is troubling.

My recommendation is that you give it more than two weeks. Two weeks is not enough to get the benefits of any diet.
