Throw away the bun, pass on the margarita, toss out the ciggies and you may have a perfect Paleo restaurant. Chips cooked in lard! What do you think?

It's a shame that a few ninnies gave you a -1, Jeannine.

Unfortunately I think the issue is that they ARE scared of meat and sat fat, they're using fear of those things as part of a marketing ploy.

Guys, I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek. I thought it was just interesting that here we have a restaurant that is more closely aligned with our principles, re: not scared of meat or saturated fat. I am not saying you should all run out and support it. A lot of people would say that our diet was terribly "artery clogging" as well.

So... throw away all the bad stuff and you've got a paleo restaurant? That's the point of your trolling?

This smacks of the Atkins stereotypes that I'm glad paleo has largely avoided. I would argue that food quality is the hallmark paleo virtue, not all the meat you can eat.

I've been both almost carnivorous and high-carb. At neither point would I have called that good.

Of course I think -1'ing the guy is unnecessary.

Wheat be damned, I refuse to throw away the bun! And the booze! Cigs I can live without.
