Hey! I'm a 33 year old female, weigh 173 lbs. I've started Paleo 3 weeks ago and have lost 3 lbs so far. :) I have way more energy and feel a lot better, which is great! I've been sleepting a lot better as well. But obviously, I would like to lose some weight (approx 30 lbs). I wasn't paying attention to my ratios at the begining and realized that this might be the reason I'm not losing more weight. Would eating a 65% fat, 25% protein, %10 carb from 1400 calories be correct for me? I'm not sure if 1400 cals is enough or too much for weight loss. Any help would be great. Tks :)

Honestly I would just keep doing whatever your doing. Maybe just pay close attention to how full you are and stop as soon as your at a comfortable level. Take up some sport or exercise that you enjoy. Go with that for a couple of months and re-evaluate in 60 days.

you are doing great, and keep it up, and here's some comfort: you'll eventually toss the mathematics of calories and exercise time aside. one day soon you'll see you only needed them to get into this natural flow when you'll know you're eating just right.
as i look back, i see myself spending precious day hours counting and figuring out if and when i could eat some more, but now i skip meals because there's no hunger to remind me, and i no longer see numbers behind my every bite.
and you know, once you're done with diet, you start looking for exiting challenge elsewhere, and you almost can't get enough, because you've freed so much energy by breaking that circle.
i know you'll get to that point, and make it soon, okay? :)

As long as you feel as great as you currently do, don't change much because of anybody's advice. You can play however a little bit with the diet to see what makes you feel most energetic and makes you lose weight even more easily (and now comes the big 'as') AS long as YOU listen carefully to what your body tells you.
