I moved to the area about 7 months ago and was in a baby-haze so I'm just now finally getting out and about and I was considering starting a meetup for my area but I wanted to see where people are.
What are your favorite grassfed meat vendors/farmers? Are there any paleo-friendly restaurants in Rhode Island (besides chipotle!!!) Does anyone here go to Crossfit Providence? Any Paleo/WAPF moms?

I live on the East Side, work in East Providence. Love the city!
Also, I go to crossfit providence, usually get my meat from the farmers' markets (from Pat's Pastured). Crossfit is starting a buying club with Pat's Pastured.
The only Paleo friendly restaurants are pretty expensive (Persimmon in Bristol is a good one, La Laiterie on the East Side has some good options, and is very careful about food allergies, etc.) Seeing as you posted quite a while back, I assume you've figured a lot of this out already, but if you have any questions, let me know!
Don't know when this thread was started, or if it's still alive, but I'm in Providence and would love a meetup!
I'm in RI, split my time between SK and Coventry. Would love to do a meetup! I just registered for the summer meat Share at Pat's pastured. I know Coastal Growers Farmers market has a variety of pastured meat and egg sources. Food for Thought on 108 in Wakefield [next to post office] has Pat's eggs and a selection of pastured meat for sale as well.
Wow I wish this thread actually had some responses, booo. I'm in SE MA and pretty much everyone I know thinks I'm crazy for eating this way.
That's a great idea . I leave in Providence (near Brown campus) and i haven't meet any paleo-people in the area so i really like the idea of a meetup group .
We are a fitness center on the East Side and most of the trainers here live Paleo and practice safer workouts than CF.
working elsewhere right now but still spend a lot of time on buzzards bay, the south coast of MA. what are paleo meetups for though? would someone be cooking me dinner?
