Allergic to Coconut and Goat Milk, how do i GAIN WEIGHT? Please HELP

Answered on August 19, 2014

every time i try to drink coconut milk or add creamed coconut to meals, for the next couple of days my throat feels like something is stuck in there and basically hurts which is annoying.

when i try to drink milk, my keratosis pilaris flares up on my arms and legs.

so i lose-lose in both situations and i need over 3500kcal a day to bulk up roughly.

is there any suggestions of what i could do??

thanks in advance

I don't know what brand of goat milk you're drinking but don't drink that Meyenberg crap. Maybe goat yogurt might help?

Eating more. When you're trying to bulk, you'll likely need to start by eating until you are full, then adding in one or two more meals on top of that. You need to readjust your view of what a normal day's worth of food is. Read this and see if this makes sense :) http://www.biggersmallerbigger.com/

Avoid those foods and eat a lot of the foods you can eat! Dont make yourwelf suffer. Pretty easy.

I'd recommend just eating more. Make sure you're getting plenty of fat (very calorie dense) , butter everything up. Get plenty of carbs, sweet potatoes, squash, bananas, most non-berry fruits etc.

And just avoid the foods that cause you problems. I don't eat certain food if they cause issues, there's still plenty more choices out there. And maybe find an alternative that works for you. Soak some almonds for about 12 hours, blend them with water, drain the liquid into a cup and boom, you have fresh almond milk. Might be worth a go :)

Eat until you are full. Then eat more. Do this 4 or more times a day. Eat lots of dead animals and starch.

FAT! 1 tbsp of coconut oil or butter is approx 100 calories, 10 tbsps of each = 2000 extra cals, i don't know about you but i could easily do 10 tbsps of butter throughout the day straight off the spoon! just get creative with sauces/dressings etc...they will mount up. Just make sure you are getting adequate protein too.

Have you tried fermenting your dairy before consumption? This reduces the lactose considerably, making it less allergenic. In addition, you might try only consuming A2-beta-casein dairy products, rather than the common A1 dairy that most Americans consume. I personally cannot tolerate straight-up milk, whether it's cow or goat, unless I ferment it using kefir milk grains for at least 24 hours.

As far as bulking up goes, I've had success with yams, eggs, egg white protein powder (somewhat expensive, and not nearly "raw-food paleo," but it was a generous gift from a friend, and it really helps thicken up your smoothies), and almond butter. Good luck!
