Again faster free-tshirt question of the day: Can you describe paleo as a haiku?

Answered on August 19, 2014

AgainFaster posted on their FB page the free t-shirt question of the day: Can you describe Paleo as a haiku? I thought this would be fun for the paleohacks crowd. I promise not to rip off your ideas. What is your haiku that describes paleo?

my 3 (so far)

life is hard and long
eat what you can pick or catch
processed is poison

eat the meat my friend
veggies and fruits and tubers
live long and prosper

and the way I currently live/see my paleo lifestyle:

paleo eating
real food when it's possible
beer when it isn't

I hope everyone has fun with this!

UPDATE: added line breaks to make it more readable. use the "< br >" tag at the end of the line (without the spaces)

I love this one! It maintains grammatical structure, makes perfect sense, is 100% true, and informative!

Dang my counting! People. Are you seriously going to let Thomas win this? Sure, they're awesome poems worthy of inclusion in any anthology, but 2 poop references? PALEO IS MORE THAN POOP!

Summer sun, bare skin -

Bandaging her blistered feet

Five Fingers in the trash

Briny ocean air -

He puked up his hamburger

it wasn't grassfed

EDIT - 2 more (I am a NERD)

8 hours of darkness

Tape on the digital clock

Sleep like a caveman

Bloated today?

You can't patch a leaky gut

Grain, bean, dairy free.

I can't compete on a haiku very well, so here's my limerick entry:

There once was an middle-aged guy Who worried after his doc said, "Oh my!" "Eat veggies and meat, and drop the wheat" With this, waived bad blood panels good-bye
