been eating paleo for at least 6 months, i was off of it for 3 when i was in the hospital. I was diagnosed with ms and I don't know if this is necessarily food related.
It seems when i go ketogenic i get extremely stressed out and can't handle talking to anybody and am generally unhappy, but when i switch to a higher carb paleo i'm able to be my old self and feel much more confident and vibrant. The problem is that when i do eat higher carb i feel extremely hot and my symptoms start acting up.
I eat 8oz of salmon with 2 cups of carrots, 2 cups of cauliflow, 2 cups of asparagus, 1 cup of artichoke hearts, 2cups of kale, 2 cups of chard, for dinner i have 1 butternut squash an half a pound of grass fed ground beef
recently been supplementing with vitamin D
also i tend to binge on berries and crave honey at times, but i notice when i crave honey meat can satiate my cravings as well.
also it would seem i don't digest carbohydrates and fat very well
i guess my question is, should i stick it out and try a lower carb paleo or go for higher carbs and feel better mentally/physcially even though it exacerbates symptoms such as fatigue/pain
