How do you handle hot food for your kids lunch?

I choose to pack my kids lunch at their day school however they will not heat anything up. My son won't eat meat and chicken cold and prefers most vegetables hot. Any suggestions?

insulated "bento" box. Becoming pretty popular in Japan these days, displacing the standard plastic boxes.

I was a picky eater as a child. My mom eventually found that I would eat soup or salad. The soup stayed perfectly warm in a thermos until lunchtime and I loved having something different than a mushy sandwich for lunch.

I'm sure a thermos would work just as well for meat and veggies. 8)

Thermos makes a variety of wide-mouth food jars. I have one that comes with a spoon tucked into the lid.
