hi I am starting paleo soon with my husband January 9 since that's when we get back from a Christmas visit with parents and decided it would just be easier to start then . So far I have meal plans and how to pack lunches for the first few weeks figured out. My next and main thing to figure out is alcohol . I recently found this one drink truely spiked and sparkling and it is 100 cal per bottle and 2g of carbs. I usually like a drink or two after the day is over and was wondering if this drink would be ok or if it will completely hinder any weight lost and my health.

I too was concerned about alcohol when I started my Paleo lifestyle. I went the entire month of January with absolutely no alcohol (I usually drink heavily 3-4 nights each week). Even for special occasions, I opted out of booze.
My suggestion is to try no alcohol. Set a goal for yourself...maybe it's one week, maybe its one month.
You can also be wise with what you choose to drink. Beer is a clear no. Gin and vodka are probably the best options if you are going to drink, just watch out for those sugary mixers! Personally, once my month of no alcohol is over, I am going to stick with gin or vodka with soda water and lime. Honestly doesn't taste bad!
