So many people report amazing cosmetic side effects of eating the Paleo way - can I eat to purposely create a specific desired side effect?
I have always had very pale lips, and my malabsorption problems aren't helping. I would LOVE to have color to my lips rather than a continuation of the pallor that is the rest of my face. A dark red would be AMAZING, but I'll take whatever paleo gives me!
Other than iron, which I don't want to supplement and which I try ant eat tons of anyway, does anyone have any ideas? Can I eat my way to redder lips?
This might sound silly, but considering that some people have reported things like their gray hair reverting to its natural color, I thought this lips thingli just might be possible. Thanks!!!

work on fixing you malabsorption, take some pancreatin digestive enzymes, a good probiotic, a multivitamin and fish oil.
clean up/simplify your diet. strive for fatty cuts of animals meats, eggs, butter tons of greens and low carb/starch veggies and herbs. drink plenty of fresh water, tea (dandelion and burdock root, peppermint, cleavers), and homemade broth, eat copious amounts of seaweeds. limit dairy, nuts, seeds and nuts/seed oils which will wreak havoc on your digestion, liver and spleen.
make sure you work your circulation, get your blood flowing daily, however you can. do manual massage/dry skin brushing. get plenty of sleep, fresh air and sunshine.
pale lips have been associated with spleen heath, all of these things should help.
