Is there someone who can help this sick Lymepatient out?

Hello,

I know it's illegal, but as I am currently sick and going broke on grass-fed products and biological veggies+all other supplements&therapy.I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me out here....

Is there someone who's willing to upload The Primal Blueprint, especially Mark Sisson's 2 cookbooks, PDF for me?Normally I'd buy it,but I really can't afford it. Besides that I need to gain weight and have a lot of mental anxieties about that, partly bc I don't know how/what nice meals to prepare fo myself and because I don't feel like spending lots of time in the kitchen. (I have this disordered thinking-pattern of food vs. exercise)

Love the use of LMGTFY! Teach a man to google and he'll cook for a life time.

Nice reply.......Robb and Sisson are trying to help. Don't make excuses Joey. Make things happen. Make changes. Then make history for yourself.........and then make good with the people who helped you. It is the circle of life. Respect it.

I guess I'm going with "no longer relevant" since there was no "illegal" option and I think that Joey got some very good responses already.

Good idea. And if the library doesn't have the book, they usually take requests for upcoming orders :).

when I'm short on time for cooking, I sometimes make scrambled eggs...check out the Gordon Ramsey video on Youtube (ignore the bread!)...they come out very soft and yummy, and are a quick treat for dinner when you need a quick or cheap meal. When I can get eggs from a farmer, they are especially good. Also very nice with some roasted cherry tomatoes in the summer.

Hell, there may even be someone who's gleaned everything from PB who might be willing to send you their copy.

You know it's illegal, but you're asking us to do it anyways? Mark Sisson has plenty of this information online already, for free.

Mark and Robb both have reams of free information on their sites. There are lots of recipe sites out there as well.

This isn't the place to ask for pirated material. There's more than enough information online. If the convenience book is worth the cost, buy it. But these people worked really hard to publish these books. They deserve to get paid for it.

I am not completely broke, but I can't afford buying new books. I can afford a bus ticket to the local library, though.

It's illegal yet you are broadcasting it on the internet? Once online, always online ... you know that right?

I empathize with your situation but surely you are a competent individual, you do not need to purchase a book or cookbook to get healthier the 'paleo' way. There are a plethora of resources at your fingertips and get this ... they're FREE (meaning, it is no illegal to read, research, learn, and benefit to your heart's content).

You don't need to take out a loan to eat paleo: -eat meat, eggs, vegetables and healthy fats -If grass-fed it too expensive get grain-fed (gasp!) and take some fish oil. -Eat more eggs (they're a cheap and nutrient dense food). -Buy frozen vegetables (they are quick to prepare, often cheaper than fresh, and often picked at their peak).

You also don't need recipes: -Fry up the eggs in skillet with some coconut oil. -Boil, stir-fry, or roast the vegetables. -Oil + meat/fish + hot pan = dinner

But, if you need recipes, here are some excellent resources: http://everydaypaleo.com/ http://paleodietlifestyle.com/ http://tinyurl.com/62sa45l ;)

You mentioned wanting to gain weight: -You need to eat more. (Yes, I sometimes state the obvious.) -If dairy doesn't bother you, drink some heavy whipping cream. -Eat fats liberally. Butter, coconut oil, avocados, animal fat/lard, eat it. love it. live it.

And lastly, relax. Don't be anxious. Paleo isn't supposed to increase your stress levels. (Stress = cortisol release = bad news). Take it one day at a time and don't fret.

Yes, there's far more free info online than you could probably ever read, including recipes. No books necessary (though you can probably buy both books for less cost than one month of some supplements or a single therapy session).

"Nice meals" aren't really necessary either, so if you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, don't. Get a chunk of meat, rub it with salt and pepper, and put it in the crock pot in the morning. If you're trying to gain weight, you might want to add some starches in there, so peel some potatoes and toss those in. Supper's cooking, so now fry up some eggs in butter, lard, or coconut oil. All that should take 15-20 minutes, and you've got breakfast and supper taken care of. Lunch can be leftover roast from the day before, or something else simple.

Mark's book is largely a conglomeration of his website. Spend some time researching it. Perhaps rather than asking someone for an upload, contact Mark. Maybe he can send you a book.

Also, have you asked the librarians at your local library to get either books? They may be able to buy them or get them through interlibrary loan.
