Does eating Paleo diet causes Gout ?

Yes I agree @missmiddlemarch Paleo diet does help in case of Gout Pain:

1.Paleo Diet helps in reducing inflammation leading to minimize pain.

2.Paleo diet is basically alkaline diet helping in reducing uric acid level.

Some of the following dietry tips on Gout along with Paleo:

1. Avoid eating shellfish and organ meat.

2. Restrict consumption of fruits up to 1-2 pieces a day.

3.Vegetables are fine but avoid vegetables like peas cauliflower, spinach which consist of some sort of purine level

4.Saturated fats from grass feed animals are good in case of Gout Pain.

5.Start including Sun-dried sea salt.

6.Dairy products in the raw condition

7.Limit red meat and other fish.

It cured it for me. After keeping a paleo food diary, I've learned that ANY amount of dairy (even just a splash of cream in coffee) or ANY grains, except white rice and buckwheat, will make it come right back to my feet within 6 hours of eating those foods.
