I have been reading many articles about the Paleo diet. Some say no carbs whatsoever. (No coconut, almond flour or maple syrup, stevia, coconut sugar, etc.). But I have your Paleo sweets recipe book and it uses all of these. (And has delicious results.) Can you clarify? I would like to follow the Paleo plan...but would also love to be able to eat some of the Paleo Sweets.

Hi Sylvia! The Paleo Diet doesn't place a severe restriction on all carbohydrates. Fruits and vegetables and even some starchy tubers for example, are a healthy part of the plan. Recipes like the ones you mentioned could be considered "Paleo"as long as they don't include grains, legumes or dairy. Just watch out for processed or refined sources of sugar and be sure to balance your carbohydrate intake and activity level.
