Hi. I've been on a paleo/perfect health diet for about 3 years. Last 2 weeks i've been feeling some wierd pain to the lower right and to the lower left of my bellybutton. I also feel tense below the middle of the rib cage sometimes. The last few days i've been feeling more back pain than usual. Mostly upper back pain during the evening, like when standing up cooking or sitting at the computer, etc. I have been to a doctor a few days ago but she could not find anything wrong with me. Could the back and abdominal/stomach-problems be related?

I am 30.

The only supplement i take is magnesium and sometimes fermented cod liver oil.

An upper endoscopy confirmed it for me. I had all the symptoms you do. When Gastrtis is just "really mild" It can feel like a dull ache under the right abdomen. You also can get a bit of back pain and some irritating belly button pains. I'm still recovering from it after taking Protease supplements for too long which can be very hard on the stomach.

Are you taking anything like HCL, or any other supplements?

The abdominal pain does not "feel" like it is a muscular issue. But i could be wrong.

Sounds like a gastrointestinal issue. Maybe gastritis or stomach irritation? You be surprised that is can cause all of those symptoms, including the back pain.

assuming the pain is resulting from a muscular issue, maybe try mix of, building correct balance of muscles, and releasing overly tight muscles.
