hope someone can help. None of the experts I've seen can.
Im a tall 33yr male, 6ft4. I weigh 92kg.
im over fat - a lot of excess belly and flank fat
body fat around 25%. Muscles not great.
I have been trying to lose the belly fat for 10 years. Have tried a lot.
after seeing many top functional doctors and nutritionists in London and discovering I have generally good health (many thousands spent on testing hormones, blood work, gut biome etc)
everything looks ok.
So I decided to check my RMR. I went to a lab and lay down and breathed into a tube.
my rmr should be 2100 Cals per days.
it is just 1029 Cals!
no thyroid issues etc.
what do I do - don't want to be fat for another ten years.
things I've tried:
LCHF (gained a lot)
vegan with high fat (gained a bit less)
perfect heath diet (paleo with sweet potato and rice)
walking 15,000 steps a day.
all supplements under the sun from world leading functional practitioners I've seen.
high cal and low cal versions of all diets and combined with exercise.
generally each diet results in fat gain or muscles loss but almost no change.
please help! All doctors say is I'm a difficult case.
