Is there any reason a person may not be sleeping well after starting 1st week of paleo? Note: May be over eating to keep weight up. Approx 7% BF

Thomas just got my own cortisol back from ZRT.....5.8, 1.2, 0.5,0.4 all perfect. So my cortisol is now optimal after all the things I did to get it back using my quantified self approach. Most important level is the last one as you know.

I knew you'd tell him. Look at your cortisol to testosterone level its a measure we use to assess over training. Called pregnenolone steal syndrome.

Cortisol issues now that you've cut out so many carbs. I doubt your metabolism has increased in a week. In fact, it's probably lowered. Take your temperature periodically to see. You can wait it out and see if it changes OR you can add back in more carbs. I would recommend the latter.
