Overeating fat and protein.

Did an experiment yesterday. Purposely overate yesterday but maintained a low carb load. Grassfed beef (1.5kg +) and Pork rind/belly for around 500g. Guessing roughly in the 6-7000calorie range. The Effects, 12 hours later nauseous, vomited upon waking. Not hunger today whatsoever, no bloating or other effects. The nauseousness I'm guessing was a result of over-consumption of fat but I am interested to know the effects of overeating the fats on that scale from a conventionally raised (non-pastured) animal? (the pork)

I have no side effects from a more SAD style overeating such as the brain fog, depressiveness and lethargy. Interesting.

Especially since one day/meal whatever isn't going to provide anything meaningful or actionable!

If you're going to be doing that kind of intense workout you might want to consider at least a slight increase in carbs. I know we try to keep them low but you have to be somewhat realistic unless you are trying to go in to ketosis. That is a bit low for all of that and you want to avoid at least some muscle loss. A sweet potato or more banana couldn't hurt.

Wish I could up your answer 10 times. Why intentionally hurt oneself by overdoing anything?

Interesting experiment. I just ate almost a pound of steak topped with bacon and am debating making more bacon. This is not to intentionally overeat; I'm just hungry. Ran a mile, did an intense CF workout including 80 reps at a weight I'd never done before and sprinting and then did 50 pull-ups. Only carbs today were 1/2 banana pre workout and 1 cup berries in a protein shake post workout. Did you do any activity today to counteract the fat/calories? I'm still contemplating more bacon.

The nausea/vomiting all that time later is probably due to protein and is perhaps due to kidney insufficiency. I wouldn't repeat the experiment. Sorry, but I've never understood the point of such experiments.
