Hokay, Ive always loved olives. I want them as a snack. Is this a good idea?

I know we dont count calories n whatnot but i noticed you cant find nutro information on any of the packages i can seem to find. Is this good? Bad? Are some better than others? Or should i just stay away?

not to mention the olive oil that is supposedly olive oil isn't really olive oil..even when it's the only ingredient listed on the bottle. Can't trust anyone anymore

Yay. But watch out for the supermarket stuff - jars of olives are often soaked in rapeseed oil. Weird, but read the label. Same with mayonnaise - supposed to be made with olive oil, but rarely happens.

Olives as a snack is a very good idea. Actually it is one of the best things you could have chosen as a snack. Seriously, enjoy them and don't worry about the calories, they are great. You won't gain a pound eating them, they are pretty much just fiber and olive oil, really good stuff. Here's the nutrition facts: http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/fruits-and-fruit-juices/7338/2

I like the ones with garlic inside and soaked in a martini. However I don't do that anymore - damn.

They seem like a pretty healthy snack, eating a handful of them won't amount to much in calories.

i chop up a few as a condiment but i don't eat enough of them for it to be a snack, let alone a meal. i don't think it's bad to eat them as a snack.
