Warm face after taking fish oil

I started taking fish oil regularly a few days ago and lately I've noticed a correlation where about an hour afterwards I get a really hot sensation in my face (and a bit warmer overall it seems) that lasts awhile. Is this a coincidence or is there another cause? It certainly seems to correspond with the fish oil

I don't know if this helps but during my career working as an esthetician/skin care specialist, I have seen a few clients who have been taking too much fish oil or another Vitamin A, almost overdosing, get red and peely. They looked al most as if they were sunburnt. I am assuming it was Vitamin A toxicity, because after cutting back, the problem went away.
