What things can you substitute if you have severe nut allergies?

I have my "I CAN HAZ NUTZ!" moments too. And the next morning I regret it. :P

Agreed. Of course, some people will think "Oh, I can haz nutz!" and polish off a can of Blue Diamond BBQ Flavor Almonds. (Okay, that was me...)

Unless they make up a significant portion of one's diet, omega-6s from nuts aren't going to be an issue.

This is correct. In fact, nuts may be suboptimal (in terms of n6, anyways).

I avoid nuts and seeds at all costs... I just don't eat anything with nuts. I eat meat instead - I don't think it counts as substitution, does it?

Substitute how.. as a snack? In a specific recipe?

Despite appearances otherwise, there's no requirement to consume nuts on a paleo diet. Skip them if you can't eat them.
