How to gain weight on paleo?

I have been eating paleo for 4 months and I lost some weight (around 5 kg), even though I didn't want to. I am not underweight but I don't like the way I look now, most of my clothes don't fit me anymore. I would like to gain some weight back. Any tips for healthy weight gain on paleo diet? I started eating white rice to gain weight, is this a good idea?

You could, if you really wanted to, but it's not a great idea.  Extra fat is inflammatory and will cause all sorts of negative health problems.

But if you really must all you need to do is to pair carbs with fat at every meal.  The carbs will signal insulin and will cause both the fat and the carbs to be stored.  i.e. add melted butter to your rice.

Depending on where you find yourself to be too skinny, you could perhaps work out that area instead. i.e. doing squats with weights could be used to build up nice quads and a very nice gluteus maximus, and muscle is much much healthier and far more visually appealing.
