Seriously, does anyone have some nutrition data for Human meat?

And No, I am not going to eat a person just so we are clear.

Also, does anyone have an accurate breakdown of the aminos in the protein of human muscles?

Seriously, paleohacks should be transparent about who up or downvotes any question.

Hey I found the full text of this and I think it should contain all the data your looking for (or most of it). http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/pmidlookup?view=long&pmid=1609756

What would be the point of 'transparency' other than retribution?

I agree Monte. I didn't downvote this but think that if Bill1102 gave a reason for his unusual inquiry it might help.

Dunno why someone downvoted....I upvoted. The composition of the human body is one of the arguments the Jaminets use to imply that your fat to protein ration should fall along the lines of 76/24 ratio by calories since eating what you are may be appropriate.

Yes!....from the PHD no less:

"A relatively lean 154lb "reference man" is composed of 42 kg water, 13.5 kg fats, 10 kg protein, and 3.7 kg minerals"

Well, in the Marquesas human flesh was often referred to as "long pig." So maybe, if we can't get accurate data for humans, we could look to the swine for nutritional data? They're omnivores like us, with similar digestive systems. They are physiologically similar enough that humans can take skin grafts from pigs, or receive pig heart valves. And known cannibals have confirmed that human flesh tastes a lot like pork (or pigs taste a lot like like people). So maybe we are nutritionally similar, too?
