Hi everyone, I have been eating a low carb paleo style diet now since mid March. My beginning weight was 225 pounds. I am a 45 year old male, 5'9" tall. I dropped down to 205 in about 5 weeks but the last 2 weeks I have been between 204 and 205. I have not lost anything in 2 weeks or so. I am being very strict about my diet. My average day consists of 1 egg and 4 pieces of bacon for breakfast. Usually a chicken breast for lunch and for dinner usually 4 to 5 oz of angus beef and some broccoli. I am not snacking at all, maybe the occasional small pack of already shelled sunflower seeds. I am working out every day in the gym, usually 2 body parts a day, today was chest and triceps. I usually do 15 minutes on the treadmill to warmup and 15 minutes in the sauna when im done. Every day the weather is good I have been walking/hiking anywhere from 3 to 6 miles on top of the daily workout. I am wondering if I put my body in starvation mode or my cortisol is through the roof and thats why I haven't lost anything in 2 weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
