Agree. It's not something I'd expend too much effort defending as I wouldn't do it myself, but I can imagine situations where it's relatively difficult to find context-specific definition and/or discern it from a more "popular" definition (especially if you are not a sophisticated google user).

So what, Mike? Even specifically "paleo" terms will return in Google.

The overall tone of paleohacks honestly seems elitist and decidedly UNhelpful. More and more I'm realizing so many folks are just here to have their egos stroked.

If the OP can navigate this site, they surely can type "tuber" into Google. Laziness explained under the guise of "newbie" is still laziness.

I'd up vote this 20 times if I could, I was looking for this site but couldn't remember it's name.

I'm definitely not one to condone such behavior, but maybe OP assumed it was a specifically "paleo" term or usage.

you may be thinking of a Tuba (different spelling), it's a brass wind instrument.

Wow what a meanie. You answered a perfectly sincere question by asking if they are lazy or stupid. This site is to help and communicate. Also, the thread is tagged with newbie.

I wouldn't normally feed a troll but I had the exact same question tonight. Instead of googling it I asked my wife because I enjoy talking with her. She enthusiastically explained it.

The OP was probably thinking the same thing here and instead of the usually helpful community she should expect she gets a nasty bite from a troll.

BTW: Why don't you google the word spam and since you're so good with google also look up Troll.

Sheesh.

Google.com. There's no reason to spam this forum with a question this simple that you can easily type "Tubers" into google and get a detailed explanation. Is it laziness or just being absentminded?

Agree. It's not something I'd expend too much effort defending as I wouldn't do it myself, but I can imagine situations where it's relatively difficult to find context-specific definition and/or discern it from a more "popular" definition (especially if you are not a sophisticated google user).
