I started semi-Paleo last Monday 3/25. I gradually cut back on carbs, dairy, and sugar while simultaneously upping my vegetable & fruit intake. The meat consumption stayed the same and I never ate processed food to begin with, so that wasn't a big deal. I did however use to consume a LOT of dairy, grains and a good amount of sugar before.
I have to say, that I don't feel well. I honestly feel like how most of you describe feeling PRE-Paleo: Bloated, gassy, yucky, sick. I even gained two pounds. Weight wasn't the reason I got on this (skin problems was) but I'm not looking to GAIN weight, either.
Does this feeling go away?? I miss eating a bowl of soothing, comforting pasta with butter. That never hurt my stomach before (but I think it made my face real greasy lol). Maybe I just shocked my system?? Thanks in advance!
