So I went to my ND today for a little table work, she also does Bowen body work. And after she came into the room, she said and "and I want to thank you for being my tester of the Paleo diet. I've suggested Paleo or grain free diets to a few other folks, since seeing your results. They've have been seeing me for digestive issues and they've all had really great results. You were the first person I really suggested it to and you were so willing to give anything a try for your digestion. Thank you."

Wow! How neat is that?

I saw that I think, from this morning. I think body work is super important, I'm also getting a lot of visceral massage to help with gut adhesions.

Yes, naturopath! My doctor focuses on alternative medicine but will also use convention medicine if need be. We've used a lot of herbs instead of pharmaceuticals. Mine is covered by insurance, and if you can do it I would HIGHLY recommend it! But yes, pretty much a natural doctor.

I'm an occupational therapist (pediatric private practice in Seattle) and I heard about it from a colleague of mine (an OT for adults). Matter of fact, just earlier today I was trying to recall the name of this (Bowen technique) on a different post where I recommended Hellerwork or Aston for a person with some postural issues. The whole time I was trying to recall the other great one - BOWEN. Funny how things work out! Thanks!!!

I'm a massage therapist by trade and had never heard of Bowen until she introduced it to me. It's the only body work that I don't know much about so I totally relax! And, since now my ND has seen the results of Paleo and my lack of inflammation shes done more research about it and even is working with a nutritionist to help others learn more! Yay!!

I just suggested it to a friend who was diagnosed with Celiac and literally always has diarrhea. I'm pretty sure it will, but I'm hoping it works so he can stop being miserable.

Very cool...I've suggested it to some also, I just haven't worked up the courage to tell them they were the experiment group :)

ND is natural dr? I had a visit with my oncologist and I told her how great I have been feeling. She said she noticed it too. So I started to tell her about paleo and she completely cut me off and said, " well as long as you're not eating just berries or anything," and that was the end of that! :-/
