i began my calorie surplus 4 weeks ago in hopes to build strenght and muscle mass. I typically to the SEALFIT routines, as i am trying to enlist in the military in a year or two after college. i was wondering if im working out 2 to 3 times a day (4 mile runs, crossfit, swimming) i can gain muscle while minimizing fat gains, my main focus is how fast i can run/swim, and the # of repetitions of calistenics i can do.

I'm assuming you're trying to Intermittent Fast while doing all this? If so, it's very doable, but your diet needs to be 100% locked in with high quality fats and proteins and minimal carbs.
Once your diet is locked in, you'll be fat adapted and even with long runs, swims, etc, you'll have plenty of energy as your body will simply draw on your fat stores.
I'm in the Army and have been Paleo/IF for 4 months with no decrease in performance during PT, so it works. Let me know if you have any questions.
