Bad leg cramps...

The last few months I've been getting really bad leg cramps at night. I mean the kind that don't go away easily and can even occur in the middle of the night and wake me up. What causes this? Only new variables are a new job (but i never got this at old job) and taking a dopamine boosting vitamin supplement.

Add some sodium, potassium, and magnesium. You can try using more salt on food & taking a supplement, or better yet, drinking 2 c. bone broth a day, eating 1/2 an avocado and 2 or 3 brazil nuts every day. That should prevent them the very same day.

Could you be low on potassium?

Are you eating low carb? That can do it.

My boyfriend has this problem when he doesn't have enough potassium in his diet, and usually eating a banana after a run helps keep them at bay.

What do you eat exactly? How about bone broths, enough D3, fermented foods, offal, maybe some kefir? Give us a URL of that supplement too. I had restless syndrome a few times when I was tired, but it went away after 2 months of paleo.
