Is this the answer to Forks over Knives?

The trailer for In Search of the Perfect Human Diet™: http://bit.ly/ybnmRC

I'm not holding my breath. A trailer usually gives a decent clue as to final style and content. I'm wondering why, when we have a movie whose stated purpose is to cut through dietary confusion, do we create a trailer whose style is the essence of confusion, with rapid-fire montages of contradictory talking head statements and clip after clip of obese people, a trope so overwrought that Fat Head got its mockery of it out of the way in the first five minutes.

Does anyone know anymore about this movie? Seen longer pieces of it? Know who's involved?

When someone gets it and watches it through, leave a review

Melissa really is a killjoy. Just putting that out there. Also Forks Over Knives isn't worth answering. Hmm now I'm a killjoy too. *highfive Melissa*

Also very exciting is that this was my first ever answer on PaleoHacks. I've been an addicted lurker for almost 6 months and finally just had to register and contribute.

I have a copy on the way and hope it's good. Jimmy Moore apparently saw it last weekend and is just gushing with praise over it: http://livinlavidalowcarb.com/blog/in-search-of-the-perfect-human-diet-now-available-on-dvd/13335

Their featured list include "Loren Cordain, Gary Taubes, Michael Eades M.D., Robb Wolf, Barry Sears, Dr. Lane Sebring, Prof. Jean-Jacques Hublin, Dr. Jay Wortman, Leslie Aiello Ph.D., Andrew Weil, Boyd Eaton, David Getoff and many more." and according to that review, Cordain is used a lot.

From what I gather it fits a different niche than Fat Head, which was primarily a low-carb/insulin film. This one is at least featuring what looks to be a more specifically paleo/ancestral eating view.

I watched the trailer, read the website, read Jimmy Moore's review, and I gotta say... I'm excited!

I'm thinking I could buy it and loan it out to friends and family, to explain my 'weird' eating habits. It's hard sending links to articles and trying to explain it all in one go. An easy to watch DVD could do the trick.

Hopefully it's as good as it looks, and if so I hope it gets lots of media attention.

I'm planning on ordering a copy after seeing the trailer. Can't wait!

[Addition: I should say, I hope this is released in the iTunes store for digital download. That way I can watch it on my iPad (or Apple TV) like Jimmy Moore got to.]

I guess it's less of an answer to Fork over Knives, and more of an answer to AHA, ADA and USDA, and their sugar daddies. Pun intended.
