I am wondering if the mineral blocking effects of Phytates is relegated only to the meal in which the phytates are eaten or if the mineral content of subsequent meals will also be blocked from absorption.
In other words, If I eat phytates for breakfast, will the mineral content of my phytate-free lunch and dinner that day be blocked by the Phytates I ate at breakfast? Or, will only the minerals present in the breakfast be blocked?
