Farmers asking FDA to allow adding sweeteners to milk??

So, did anyone hear about how dairy farmers are trying to see if they can add crap like sweeteners to milk without having to put on label? Apparently its so kids will like it more. Wow, seems like a pretty good reason to only consume raw dairy if your primal diet allows. What the hell is going on in this world? lol...just wanted people thoughts on the possibility of this and what it will do

Hey come up to Canada! We boast the cleanest milk you can get (it is illegal to use growth hormones or antibiotics on a milk cow, and they are removed from milk production if they need to be on those drugs) and we don't have any sweeteners or anything. We have the same problem with raw milk here though, unfortunately.

It will be time to leave the United States if that happens. Maybe it already is time.

I don't buy the no labeling requirement. Sounds like there's a moratorium on using non-nutritive sweeteners in flavored milks, and they simply want the ability to use non-nutritive sweeteners in flavored milks. What examples of unlabeled non-nutritive sweeteners are out there?

Nope, didn't hear about this. Can you add some links to at least a news source article so that we can actually discuss a 3rd party story, and not a possible rumor that was just started? ;-)
