I live in Northville, MI and will be opening a few units of a very paleo-friendly burger restaurant in Ann Arbor and the Detroit suburbs. We are currently searching for real estate for the first location and will open in Spring/Summer of 2013.
We'll serve 100% grass fed 100% certified organic beef which is ground on site daily and sourced from family farms. We'll have organic bacon, 6 month aged unprocessed cheddar and offer a lettuce wrap option instead of a bun. Our french fries are cut on site and fried in 100% olive oil.
UPDATE: We finally signed a lease for our first location and it will be in Ann Arbor! It will be in Chalmers Place at 3365 Washtenaw Ave. We plan to open this summer. Please check out the Facebook page if you want to track our progress through design, construction and grand opening:

I live in Ypsilanti and go to the Ann Arbor farmer's market. It runs year 'round. Black Oak Farms for awesome pork. Great uncured smoked bacon and sausages! Hannaford Farms for lamb. There are also Amish farmers selling beef and chicken. Friends and I purchased a whole hog at the Washtenaw 4-H auction this past summer and had it processed. That was an interesting experience! Also purchased a share of a grass-fed steer from Matt Middleton Farm CSA. Excellent quality. And definitely get a deep freezer. I've also heard good things about Old Pine Farm.

I live near Grand Rapids and order from Creswick Farms in Ravenna. They have monthly drop dates around the area.

Through eatwild.com, I have bought different animals at different spots in OH, in the Thumb, locally near Ann Arbor (too dear for my taste), and near Lansing. Eggs from the farmer market. I fish but in the last few years I have been too busy at work, my buddies go up North for days and I can not do it. I only need a good rabbit provider and then I am all set.

I live in Ypsi. Hiller's has some good grass-fed Kobe beef as well as some more exotic meats. Trader Joe's and Whole Paycheck have decent fare, of course. I can also second the quality of Black Oak Farms.
