Glutened can be any response from mild to severe gluten sensitivity/celiac. I heard someone use it being hit at a drive-by shooting. LOL

How would you use 'glutened' in context? I'm visualizing it as a synonym to 'bludgeoned'.

When I read "auto-fage-y" Joshua, I at first pronounced that "auto-fah-yeh-ee". Like the yogurt. Blah.

I'm still wrapping my head on how to pronounce it. Is it "Auto-fage-y"? Is it "Auto-phaj-ey"? How about "Aut-tofagey"?

"safe starches"

mostly because it gives me the mental image of a loaf of bread pacing around a cage growling at me and rattling the bars. Caution: unsafe starch!

Autophagy. I think because it sounds slightly pompous, like me. (I feel the same way about besmirched, my overall favorite English word.)

I kinda like "paradoxical responder," though it's not necessarily limited to Paleo.

It's just a bummer that there are paradoxical responders to certain things out there. 99% of people get better doing x, y, or z, so you try it, and it smacks you upside the head instead. :-/
