One of the sad consequences of dogmatism is the loss of sense of humor. See the reactions to http://paleohacks.com/questions/5452/meta-are-paleohackers-becoming-irritatingly-dogmatic/5467#5467 and http://paleohacks.com/questions/5489/protein-content-of-white-vs-brown-vs-sourdough-bread-closed

@Acton - it is ironic you are accusing me of being dogmatic.

Seems like closing a funny thread is more than just being a buzzkill

I'd like to think I have a sense of humour, but the comments by Earl Cannonbear just weren't funny, enough to make that comment on one thread but it's the same comments over and over again.. just dull and tedious tbh.

THIS is funny and a good example of how to do good satire:

Dude, there are some paleo communities that have waaaaaaay more buzzkills than ours. I've dealt with groups of paleos that believe that milk is an evil jar of puss and a potato is the underground spawn of the devil. If you see something you think is lame, vote it down.

@Acton

I originally let the question stand open -- but Durandal, as a guest on my site, was quite simply rude and offensive.

Even after I suggested a Solomonic compromise of suggesting we simply tag non-Paleo stuff as non-Paleo stuff. See here: http://paleohacks.com/questions/5494/meta-what-should-the-tag-or-acronym-be-for-not-quite-but-related-paleo-stuff

I was then was forced to close the question because Durandal was intentionally trolling with his follow-up comments here: http://paleohacks.com/questions/5489/protein-content-of-white-vs-brown-vs-sourdough-bread-closed

Not cool. Such behavior won't be tolerated.
