[META] If I am caught creating a dummy account to vote my answers up on PaleoHacks what happens?

Question is:

If I am caught creating a dummy account to vote my answers up on PaleoHacks what happens?

1) We will find you. PaleoHacks.com registers suspicious voting patterns and brings them to my attention.

2) We will embarrass you. That means you Tactical Savage - http://paleohacks.com/users/3493/tactical-savage

3) We will delete you. Tactical Savage is only not deleted because I hadn't made my policy clear about this.

Any questions?

Tactical Savage -- the tragi-comic part is that by all accounts people really like your stuff -- on the bright side, we can forget and forgive.

The tragi-comic part Patrik, is that you obviously assume the worst in people and would jump to such ludicrous conclusions. N of course, in a Universe of infinite possibilities, your conclusion has to be the correct one.

The two TS email accounts are business accounts (my assistant uses the one ending in 69) and the other is the private account of the girl who does our shipping. I have been "Paleo" for over 35 years and have contributed extensively to this community. N yes, the girls thought it was neat that my answers were being voted up. If Patrik and the rest of you actually want to believe something so childish, have at it. Best of health!

That's too bad. Tactical Savage had these cool answers about living in the wilderness, meditating, etc. Maybe it's his kids or fans voting him up?

Also, the other accounts activities were ONLY up-votes.

Tactical Savage, one of the accounts you set up used the same exact email address as your main account. So it doesn't make sense for you to claim that it is just a friend of yours using the same computer. "

I know my life is not complete without the approval of anonymous people on the Internet. Especially if "I" am that anonymous person.

I'm sure it looks at the accounts other votes and other activities. Easy to tell if the above is honestly multiple people at that point

You raise an interesting question. Can the "suspicious voting pattern" detection software distinguish between a dummy account where you vote yourself up vs. your friends and family voting you up?

Why, dude? Why?

What kind of reward do you get from lying and cheating your way to social validation? It makes no sense.

LOL You are ridiculous! I share this computer with 3 other people who have been delving into the Paleo lifestyle. They opened their own accounts and voted me up. I am way too busy raising 5 kids and running a successful business and hardly need the approval of a few nameless, faceless people.
