[meta] How do I find questions that I've asked recently?

Answered on August 19, 2014

This isn't really a Paleo question but rather a question about the site. I ask questions but then can't find the topics to follow up on the answers later. Some of them appear under stats and recent but not all of them, even when they could have many answers. It seems like that's where they should appear, no? I've resorted to marking my questions as favorites so that I can find them later. Is the site just buggy?

Done. Let me know if the problem persists.

My computer at home said I was using an "unregistered" account. It only gave me the option to register it - there's not even a logout button! I searched for the cookie in the browser and deleted it that way. Then I was able to login and am getting the same view in both places now. Could you merge the activity from the unregistered account with this name to the registered account with this name?

you have to make sure you are on the right sub-tab. There are so many tabs, make sure you click around.

@balor123, you have accidentally created duplicate accounts. Your theory about cookies has merit. Duplicate accounts have to do with using more than 1 device to access PH, with each device having its own cookies. If you log in/out each time you use the site, it may prevent this from occurring. Just say the word, I will merge these accounts for you.

I went to your user page and saw your earlier questions. Have you tried the tabs and buttons to the right of the listed questions? You can put them in order by date and scroll to the one you're looking for. The date order is from most recent to oldest, but they all show.

I have a theory. From experience in the past, there seems to be two types of logins. One is based on your cookies, where your login has expired but it continues to show you as logged in anyway. The other is an active login. My guess is the former doesn't get picked up. Now how do I tell if I'm really logged in or not?

Tried that - only 9 questions are listed. What of the rest? Also, they aren't sorted by date annoyingly. I've got questions there that are weeks old and I don't care about anymore. The recent ones don't appear and my "responses" page also doesn't seem to list all the responses, hence the need to find the questions so I can read them.

Nope. There's a list of some questions that I've asked. This one appears there however my question about the sex lives of Paleo man does not.

Click on your username (not the "recent stats" envelope) to view your profile, where there will be a list of all the questions you've asked.

Have you clicked on the FAQ link?

The short answer for your question is to find your name at the top of the screen and click on it. Your page lists the questions you've asked and you can click on whichever question you're looking for.

That's a weird one. Hopefully just a one off. I used google to find it; "balor123 sex site:paleohacks.com/questions"

here's the link if you haven't found it yet; http://paleohacks.com/questions/75639/what-was-paleo-sex-life-like

....I've just noticed you've added that question as a Favorite, good idea, at least you'll be able to find it quickly under your user profile.
