Problems With MethylFolate When You Have Sulfur Food Insensitivity

I have read several places online that if you do not tolerate sulfur foods that you need to be careful with folic acid supplementation.   Can someone summarize what that issue is?   I am heterozygous for C677T, which I understand means I methylate with about 70% of normal efficiency.  I may have a mercury toxicity, which may account for my intolerance of sulfur high-thiol foods.
