How schizophrenia develops is not fully understood yet, some genes are thought to be at play, but none may be necessary for it to develop.

Given the ambiguity of genetics, one may or may not be increasing his/her chances of developing schizophrenia, but I think it is possible to at least ease it with a good diet and the right diet may even let a sufferer reduce and stop medication.

Schizophrenia generally reaches the peak at an earlier age.

I think medication is irrevocable in active periods, someone with the condition should certainly try to adopt a better diet, the best of which must be trying a paleo autoimmune protocol.

I think the most rewarding dietary thing for schizophrenia is eliminating A1 dairy. Eliminating gluten may be next. Consuming enough methylated b vitamins are also important.

I can go on later.

There is a correlation between schizophrenia and wheat consumption.
