Women: How has a paleo diet affected your mentrual cycle?

Ever since adopting a paleo diet (one year ago), I have noticed a decrease in PMS symptoms as well as a shorter period in general. I have significantly less cramping, never get PMS-related acne any more, and find that I have a more regular cycle.

One of the biggest benefits is the absolute absence of carb cravings prior to my cycle these days. I used to tell when my period was arriving by the intense cravings for chocolate and potato chips I would have. I no longer experience this.

How has a paleo diet affected your cycle? Has it improved it as it has mine? Or has it created some difficulties for you? Do you have PMS cravings for carbohydrates?
