That sounds great, I love The Cove, but I havent been since turning paleo. I will have to check out the Gwendolyn Restaurant. Where is it? There is the Little Aussie Bakery and Cafe, near Breckenridge Park and Broadway thats a gluten free restaurant. I have been wanting to check it out to see if there is anything Paleo on the menu.

awesome! I will try and start something soon. I deleted my original facebook but I'll add whoever's interested to my new fake account (used for things like this) as a preliminary means of communication.

Hi ! Yes there ARE a few places to check out if you havent ventured already... Gwendolyn Restaurant (features local/organic food... I havent been yet) and of course the pearl brewery market and/or quarry market farmers market. My most frequented paleo-friendly restaurant is The Cove. Grassfed burgers, fish tacos, sweet potato fries, etc...SO GOOD. I'll work on getting a meetup going in the next 2-3 weeks or so.

I'm from there, and even though I don't live there right now, I visit a couple times a year.. So if a meetup happens while I'm in TX, I'm in!

Paloma Blanca in Alamo Heights has a paleo menu. Zedrick's is also something I've heard many good things about, but haven't tried.

I am a Paleo chef and have been for sometime now. My wife and I make Paleo food for our local crossfit box and others in our community. E mail me if you want to get together. We are actually in the process of opening a Paleo restaurant here in SA!!

Has anything happened? Any paleo peeps getting together here in san antonio. I just saw this post today and wondering if any meet and greets are happening soon. Keep us posted here, I don't subscribe to face book but I do have google plus. I also visit here frequently. Just looking to give those paleo folks my business. I'm new to paleo but I love it..hope to hear back soon.

Just found this. Wow! Very excited to join a group of like-minded Paleos. Anything going on forming a group yet?

Yes, I'm interested in a meetup! Also, I'm looking for people to go to with to the Paleo fx Symposium in Austin in March.

The Cove seems to be the closest thing to Paleo we have. I'm sure their oils aren't "kosher" though.

I'm a Paleo San Antonian!! I thought I was the only one is this overweight city! None of my friends get me, and have stopped asking me out for dinner and drinks, lol. Fine with me, I save money and feel better. :) Have you found any good restaurants in the area that provide paleo options? I'm always looking for new places to try.
