Anyone know of good paleo places to eat or train in Philly? Also, does anyone know if there is a paleo meetup group in Philly?

Training-wise-- there's these steps leading up to the Philadelphia Museum of Art--you could wear a gray sweatsuit and run up them if you want.

i belong to a box in KoP (crossfitKOP.com). the community there is awesome, and the trainers are top notch. i know there's a box in center city, and one out in north philly, too. you could find them on google. if you're more in the suburbs, there's one in broomall, and two (i think) in west chester.
as for eating, i've found some local places in the 'burbs that i frequent if i am eating out, but nothing strictly paleo. so far, i've found Iron Hill's GF menu to be excellent, and the staff has always been graciously accommodating when i request things like GF, no sauce, no dressing, etc. mostly i cook and eat at home, its just easier.

If you're looking for a place to get lean beef, try Philadelphia CowShare (www.phillycowshare.com). You can buy a "share" of a local, grass-fed cow.

There's several crossfit boxes in the Philly area. Some even have PaleoKit vending machines. One of the them is the source for PaleoKits even, though you may have to cross a river to get there...
There was at least a few proposed meetings in the area on July 8th (the paleo meetup day). I don't know if any of those actual met up however.
Though I spend most days in Philly, I choose to fast while I'm there instead of eating. Works for me.
