What vitamins/minerals help your body utilize more of the protein you eat?

I've heard that Vitamin A helps your body use more of the protein you eat. Is this true? What other vitamins/minerals might be necessary to utilize all the protein in one's diet?

Another way to ask this question would be "What vitamins get depleted as one increases dietary protein?"

Personally i would suggest vitamin E!

Through research i learnt that vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protect's cell membranes. So if you are eating protein for muscle mass/strength gains then vitamin E will help as it helps recuperate and grow muscle cells! So it will help your body absorb the protein into the muscle cells.

Hope that makes some sense and is of use to you ?!
