Does the method of killing of an animal make any difference for the paleo diet? Example is Kutha meat or Jhatka methods all acceptable as are any other butchering methods? Do they affect the quality of the meat?

I think there are a few inferences from the question, sorry if its vague and not clear. One is the slowness of slaughter as in ritualised slaughter; and the other would be the residual of blood and other substances and toxins in the meat based on how it died. I totally agree with your pastured and and well treated animals comment. I used to farm and we called it grass-fattened as opposed to grain-fattened.

I'm not sure I understand your question. What are you really asking? There's a widespread preference on this site for pastured, well-treated animals as the source of meat.

I'm not totally sure, but i'm going to say no beyond what types and how much fat may be in what you eat. Most people around the world eat animals butt-hole to snout, so I don't think the way you cut it up would matter. As far as killing.. I've had deer killed by gun, bows, spears, and even one by car. I have had no problems other than trying to keep my freezer full of meat.

Not to my paleo, it doesn't. My preferred meat is the stuff my husband catches and hunts, but the local butcher's fare will do. Then again, I'm not one to get particular about how food gets to the table. I just do the best with the budget I have to work with and don't waste mental energy mulling over the rest.
