Became ill 1 hour after eating a cheeseburger

I ate JUST 2 bites of a McDonald's cheeseburger and within the hour, I threw up. Would the reason I got sick, be the cheeseburger or something else? It seems too short of time, for it to have been the cheeseburger as I have had food poisoning before and it was several hours after eating that I became ill.

I don't think this is a gut reaction. Those things seemed to film my mouth. The only natural way to remove that film is vomit. Listerine might be effective too.

Ugh. There's something vile about those things. The process cheese The wet meat? The puffy bun saturated with meat water? Or maybe the whole package?

Why are you eating McDonald's burgers on a paleo diet?

I would say it was a bit quick as im sure your body wouldnt react that quick with such a small amount !

the last time I had a fast food burger, which was years after I quick eating fast food, but before paleo, I got sick immediately, after only a few bites. I have no idea what or why, but it sealed the deal. never, ever, ever eat fast food.

I recently had a very similar experience. I had a hot dog of dubious origins... and I got the worst headache and then threw up within a couple of hours. Not thinking the hot dog was the reason - three days later I had some ham sandwich meat ( unknown brand) - same reaction. Something was in those processed meats that made me sick.

I know that when I have been eating very healthy for a while and then just eat some sort of crap, I become immediately ill as well. Our bodies don't naturally want to process that strange junk that's called food, and it will try to get rid of it quickly. I understand it may look yummy at some point, especially if you had a few too many drinks, but it sounds like a good lesson to stay away from that mess.

2 bites is very few to cause that immediate reaction unless you had not had cheeseburgers for months and this was a huge shock to the system or it had some particularly awful poison in it.

This happened to quite a few of my friends. By healthy intake body becomes use to it and when a burger comes in it reacts weird.
