Have heard alot lately about Yerba Mate. Just wondered what your experiences are? I have enjoyed green tea for years and think it is great?

I will have to research the caffeine content, I assumed it was less than a cup of coffee.

I absolutely love mate, I react very badly to caffeine from coffee and black tea but never with mate. It gives me a gentler, longer lasting energy instead of the jitters and crash I get from coffee. I've found it decreases appetite, which could be good or bad depending on the person.

I think it's delicious! My uncle is Argentinian and they drink it like water. It has a similar (but I would say bolder) taste to green tea. It does have caffeine, I'm almost sure it's more than green tea, so if that's an issue for you you'll want to drink less than you would of green tea in a day.

I say go for it, it's tasty and you can't go wrong!
